Workplace health and safety policy

It is important that you have clear policies to provide clarity on the operational issues for your practice.

A policy provides guidance to employees, clearly outlining how to behave and what is expected. They should be regularly communicated and readily available to your employees. Policies can be developed for a number of different areas – leave, privacy, social media, health and safety, discrimination and bullying, telephone and internet use.

Workplace Health and Safety Policy

To be complaint with current health & safety legislation you must have a WHS policy that details the responsibilities of both the employer and the employee. The policy shows your commitment to health and safety, removing or reducing the risk of your employees in the practice.
