MyHealth1st (formerly 1stAvailable) is an online booking system that integrates in SUNIX and Optomate making it easy for both new and existing patients to book appointments with you – when it suits them.

How did you come across MyHealth1st?
I had actually been researching this myself and looking for ways of doing this. Our Business Coach Brad told us about it and we jumped on it right away.
How many appointments do you get through the MyHealth1st booking system?
At the moment, we haven’t done any marketing besides for telling a few people, and we get 3-4 appointments a week so far. That’s without us doing anything. We’ve been very impressed with it.
How have you found the integration into Optomate?
The appointment that Eddie made (during the ProVision MyHealth1st webinar) integrated within 5 seconds of him making it so it certainly integrates very well and very quickly. We haven’t had any no-shows at all.
How has MyHealth1st benefited your practice beyond booking appointments?
Because it incorporates the patient’s email address in the form, we send them a welcome email and a Welcome to the Practice form. We ask them to fill it out as an online PDF, email it back to us or bring it in with them.
What about your staff – how have they coped with the change?
They were a bit dubious to start with, but they’ve been happy with it, they don’t have to do anything! I would definitely recommend it to my peers.
