A WA practice recently took helping a patient to the next level.
While the optometrist was talking to a patient during an exam, she learned that the patient needed to do a telehealth check with a non Opthometric specialist. The patient was concerned that her internet connection wasn’t going to be up the task due to her living in a regional area. The optometrist and staff offered to assist the patient and set her up on the internet in one of the consulting rooms so that she could successfully connect and complete her telehealth check. The patient was really wowed by the generosity of the staff and thankful for the help they offered to her.
