Starting out is one thing - starting out well is another.
If you’re looking for your first (or early career) optometry role where you’ll be properly supported, encouraged, and exposed to a wide scope of clinical care - this is the kind of environment that sets you up for the long run.
Why this role is different
You’ll be joining a team of five experienced optometrists, each with their own clinical interests - giving you access to real-time guidance, second opinions, and ongoing mentorship as you develop.
You’ll never be the sole optometrist in practice while you’re finding your feet.
Supported by experienced dispensers, a strong reception team, and an in-house optical technician, you’ll be set up to focus on building your clinical confidence.
What you’ll be doing
A full-scope clinical role with exposure to:
- General optometry and comprehensive eye exams
- Children’s vision
- Contact lenses and Ortho-K
- Myopia management
- Dry eye therapy and therapeutics
Using advanced technology including OCT, OPTOS, topography, biometry and IPL.
This is a shared role between mostly optometry consulting hours but some hours of optical dispensing and assisting roles such as visual fields and contact lens teaching.
What you’ll gain
- Structured, ongoing mentorship within a collaborative team
- The opportunity to build confidence and clinical independence at the right pace
- A diverse patient base
- Full-time position (ideal), with weekday flexibility
- No late nights or weekends
About you
- A recent graduate or early-career optometrist
- Warm, approachable, and patient-focused
- Curious and eager to learn
- Comfortable asking questions and developing your skills
